Sparky Electric is a family-owned and operated business serving the greater Salem area and Mid-Willamette Valley since 1978.

Duane Vaubel, President and CEO
Duane’s 50+ years of experience has given Salem area residents and business owners peace of mind when it comes to their electrical projects and problems.
When he’s not on the job, Duane is heavily involved in the area’s Rotary Youth Exchange Program. He has served as Chairman of the East Salem Rotary Youth Exchange Committee (1995-1997/1998-present), District Youth Exchange Country Officer for Argentina and Brazil (2005-present), Chairman of the District 5100 Youth Exchange Committee (2009-2012), and President of East Salem Rotary (1997-1998).
Duane has also seen action as Varsity Softball Head Coach at Gervais High School (1995-2002) and Head Coach for Surge 18U and Women’s Fastpitch Softball (1994-2003).
He also finds time to enjoy his five grandchildren and catch a fish or two.
